存在感のあるウィンドブレーカー

TEIJINの "MINOTECH®"という防風透湿撥水素材を使用。
この素材は稲から作られる日本古来の雨具「蓑（ミノ）」の「水を滑らせ、雨をよける」という発想を得て生地表面に微細な凹凸を作り、水滴を転がす。
今回使用している新素材は”MINOTECH®”の中でもより縦糸を塩縮し毛羽だだせることで縦糸と横糸の高低差を出し、水滴をより転がす未発表の新素材ということになる。
さらに生地裏面にポリウレタンコーティングを施し防風性を強化しているので、軽く薄いのに暖かく、このジャケットのベンチレーション機能に特化したデザインとこの新素材がベストマッチしている。
フロントの止水ファスナーがデザインの中心にもなっている。
フロントZIPに並列されたZIPを開けると両サイドの胸ポケットにアクセス可能、又胸ポケット下のポケットはメッシュ仕様でベンチレーションにもなる。
背中にもベンチレーション機能があり、太い裾リブがそれをアシストしている。

A Windbreaker with Presence

Made with TEIJIN’s "MINOTECH®", a windproof and water-repellent fabric.
Inspired by the traditional Japanese rainwear "Mino", made from rice straw, this material mimics its ability to repel rain by allowing water droplets to slide off.
The fabric's surface features fine irregularities that enhance this effect.
The newly developed yet-to-be-released MINOTECH® fabric used in this jacket takes water repellency even further. By shrink-processing the warp threads to create a slightly fuzzy texture, it increases the height difference between the warp and weft threads, allowing water to roll off more effectively.
Additionally, a polyurethane coating on the inner surface enhances wind resistance, making the jacket lightweight yet warm.
The ventilation-focused design pairs perfectly with this innovative fabric.
A waterproof front zipper serves as a key design element.
The parallel front zippers provide access to chest pockets on both sides, while the mesh-lined lower pockets also function as ventilation openings.
The back features a ventilation system, supported by a wide ribbed hem for improved airflow.
